The popular and lovable couple from the award winning sketch comedy series CAUTION: May Contain Nuts return in their very own situation comedy series. Relocating to the town of Morningside, Alberta (Population: 50,000), Marta (Howie Miller) and her life-partner Delmer (Sheldon Elter) adjust to their new lives in the heart of a thriving and close-knit prairie community. The local morning news show, Good Morning Morningside, is where Marta will find her calling. After being discovered and hired by the eccentric, self professed ‘zen’ producer Creston Sage (Kevin McDonald, Kids in the Hall) to be a host on the morning show, Marta’s guileless personality and warm nature quickly endear her to the show’s viewers. Meanwhile, Delmer participates so much in the station’s activities, you might actually think he works there. Interview guests and oddball locals will come and go and the quirky news team and behind-the-scenes crew will provide plenty of comedy and conflict. But the main focus will always be on the unique bond between the always interesting and oddly charming Delmer and his lovely lady Marta!
